Description

The 2021 Carmnre Axel from Peralillo, Colchagua, was aged for 12 months in 15% new oak barrels. Dark garnet red in the glass. The ripe nose offers notes of blackberry, ash and hints of pyrazine over a bed of cigar box. Indulgent in the mouth, the structured grape and oak tannins make for a full-bodied red with lasting green pepper flavor– Joaqun Hidalgo, Mar 2023
